Love Junkie

Rachel Resnick, author of the cult novel Go West Young Fucked Up Chick, is out with her second book, the memoir Love Junkie, an unflinching look at sexual addiction and the struggle to overcome it. Says Janet Fitch (author of White Oleander and Paint It Black), “Reading Love Junkie is like watching a sleepwalker take a stroll on the freeway. All you can do is pray. Gorgeously written, piercingly honest.”

Rachel is a fearless writer; a generous and inspiring teacher; and one of the best readers I’ve ever heard. So check out one of her upcoming appearances:

  • Tues Dec 2, 7:30 – the official LA book launch at Book Soup in West Hollywood
  • Thurs Dec 4, 7:30 – reading and signing at Village Books in Pacific Palisades
  • (we prefer you go indie, but if you can’t make the above, she’ll be at the 3rd St Promenade Barnes & Noble at 7 on Mon Dec 1)

Check out Rachel’s website for more info; also the Love Junkie Facebook page; and, for those who wish to study with Rachel in style, Writers on Fire.
